Skin by Sarah uses the gold standard of professional micro-needling devices - the eDermaStamp® - which at 150 strokes per second (is one of the fastest on the market!) the eDermaStamp® can safely glide over the skin without scratching or tearing the skin.
Poor quality micro-needling pens which operate at a slower insertion rate (100 to 120 strokes per second) can cause scratches and micro-tears in the tissue as the tip moves across the face. The result can be increased epidermal damage and increased risk of infection.

What is Skin Needling?
Skin needling also known as collagen induction therapy promotes skin repair and reduces the appearance of aging, wrinkles, scars, & stretch marks with the eDermastamp® Collagen Induction Therapy At 150 strokes per second (the fastest on the market!) the eDermaStamp® can safely glide over the skin without scratching or tearing the skin. What Happens during the Skin Needling Procedure?
The microneedles enter the skin and create a controlled wound on the skin. This wound signals an injury response in the skin cells causing them to go into a healing response which causes cell proliferation. This has the effect of filling out wrinkles. It also causes scars to reform in a way that blends in with the surrounding area; and the epidermis is improved in thickness and transparency.
Sarah recommends a minimum of between 3-6 sessions for most clients but this will be discussed with each individual client.
